Call for “Eastern Partnership Young Journalist Network” Fellowship program
Belarus Country Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) invites students and young professionals in the field of journalism or social media from Belarus, other Eastern Partnership countries, and Russia to apply for the new fellowship program “Eastern Partnership Young Journalist Network”.
KAS offers a systematic series of seminars and workshops in different countries in the Eastern neighborhood of the European Union as well as in the European Union itself. The aim of the Fellowship program is to provide the participating journalists with a complex of theoretical and practical inputs on the European Union and the Eastern neighborhood policy, as well as to train their practical skills in media production and modern journalistic techniques. After comprehensive trainings within workshops together with high ranking practitioners from media and politics, the participants will produce an up-to-date journalistic output themselves.
The organizers will cover all travel costs, accommodation and meals during the events, and assist in obtaining a Schengen visa if necessary.
“Eastern Partnership Young Journalist Network” Fellowship program is available to young journalists from 18 to 26 years from Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia. The candidates must prove their working experience in media production and have a command of English.
Working languages of the seminars/workshops will be English and Russian.
