Application Deadline: LLM Certificate Program “International Financial Services Law”
European Humanities University in collaboration with IIT Chicago Kent-College of Law offers a non-degree LL.M Certificate Program in “International Financial Services Law”. The program is part of School of American Law established at EHU by the agreement with IIT Chicago Kent-College of Law in July 2013.
The deregulation of financial services, tax reforms, globalization, technology, and revolutionary market forces are only some aspects of today’s legal environment: attorneys must constantly broaden their knowledge and sharpen their skills to handle the range of law-related issues arising in the rapidly evolving financial services industry. Chicago-Kent College of Law’s Program in Financial Services Law educates legal professionals to be effective in this volatile ever-changing environment. Ten courses are conducted exclusively either by full-time Professors or Adjunct Professors of Chicago-Kent College of Law with global industry experience.

Advantages of the program:
- Fast-track and direct pathway to US LL.M. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have opportunity to complete the International and Transnational Law LL.M degree in one semester instead of one Academic Year at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois
- The education process is designed to allow students effectively combine their work and/or study with the program. Classes are held only one/two times per month in Vilnius (on week-ends). Between classes student can study at their own pace with the only requirement to submit their exams to determined deadlines

List of courses: Introduction to American Law, Corporate Responsibility, International Criminal Law, Online Contracting and Related Issues, Comparative Advertising and Marketing Law, Legal Writing, Intellectual Property Law Survey, Antitrust, E-Commerce and IP, International Business Transactions

- Students of EHU and other universities who completed at least two years of legal studies
- Graduates of EHU and other universities who seek broad introduction to the American Legal System and international business transactions
- Practicing lawyers from any country interested in in-depth introduction to the American Legal System
