ADAMI Talks 2021: “A Polarizing World: How does it Affect Our View on Cultural Diversity”

European Humanities University invites students to the international student symposium with the participation of famous experts and journalists ADAMI Talks 2021: “A Polarizing World: How does it Affect Our View on Cultural Diversity”.

Focusing on cultural diversity coverage amidst rising nationalism and polarization in our communities. Does this space remain beyond attention? What is the impact of polarization on the world of media and cinema? Join us in the debate and share your views. Universities from Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, and Georgia will take part in the interactive symposium.

ADAMI TALKS 2021 will be held on December 10th, at 11:00 (Vilnius time) / 13:00 (Tbilisi Time) in the Information Center of NATO and EU (2/1 Shalva Dadiani St, Tbilisi, Georgia). Universities from the EU Eastern Partnership Countries have the opportunity to engage and participate in discussions through the Zoom Platform. 11:00-13:00 Vilnius/ 13:00-15:00 Baku, Yerevan, Tbilisi/ 12:00-14:00 Minsk/ 11:00-13:00 Chisinau, Kiev/ 10:00-12:00 CET.

ADAMI TALKS is an innovative platform for audio-visual media to exchange and discuss current issues in cultural diversity. It is a platform for sharing experiences and presenting new ideas, approaches. ADAMI TALKS is organized in collaboration with the faculties of journalism and film of universities and film schools. During the event, public figures, media and film professionals from Europe and the Eastern Partnership countries, will share their experiences and hold discussions with media students, young journalists, and filmmakers.

The guests and moderators of the ADAMI TALKS 2021 discussion are:

  • Udo Lielischkies – Former senior TV Correspondent and Former Head of ARD Studio, Moscow
  • Kenan Aliyev – Executive Editor of Current Time, RFE/RL’s Russian-language TV program that brings independent news and information to Russian-speaking audiences in Russia and neighboring states.
  • Ineke Smits – Director and writer, advisor at funds and institutions, coach at international fiction- and documentary projects.
