Workshop “Generative Artificial Intelligence: Bridging Technology and Humanities” within the framework of the “Digital Humanities Laboratory” project at EHU

From February 5th to 9th, the European Humanities University hosted a workshop titled “Generative Artificial Intelligence: Bridging Technology and Humanities,” organized as part of the “Digital Humanities Laboratory” project.

The workshop’s expert was invited, Andrzej Wodecki, a researcher from the Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, with over 15 years of experience in information business systems, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

The aim of the event was to explore the potential of generative artificial intelligence in the field of humanities and social sciences, as well as its impact on teaching methods, research processes, and education. The workshop program was closely integrated into the daily activities of the faculty, encouraging the creative use of artificial intelligence tools to enhance the educational process and stimulate professional growth through the development of sought-after digital skills.

The event attracted the attention of leading faculty members and administrators of EHU and served as a platform for creative exchange of experiences and ideas in this dynamic and promising direction.

The workshop was organized as part of the Digital Humanities Lab project, funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
