EHU announces a Search for the Position of Vice-Rector

Under the direction of the Rector, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs acts as the chief academic officer of the University and is responsible for educational policy and academic programs. This includes program review and improvement, accreditation and self-evaluation, assessment of student learning and advancement of student success, academic personnel decisions, quality assurance in studies and teaching, enrolment management, program and curriculum development, and the encouragement and improvement of teaching, learning, and research.

To join the EHU academic community in the position of Vice-Rector, the candidate is required to hold a first degree and relevant postgraduate qualifications, preferably a doctoral qualification, demonstrate a track record of outstanding achievement in a specific discipline, have a successful record of academic leadership and management and/or business achievement, including significant and demonstrably successful experience in managing change, people and financial resources, probably through leadership and management of a significant academic unit.
