This year, the prize was also awarded to director Laurinas Bareiša, literary critic and translator Vytautas Bikulčius, architect Gintaras Čaikauskas, dance critic and cultural manager Audronis Imbrasas, composer and performer Andrius Kulikauskas, musicologist Laimutė Ligeikaite-Grubevičienė, artist Marija Marcelionytė-Paliukė, choreographer Martynas Rimkevičius, theater historian Daiva Shabasyavičene, artist Emilija Skarnulite, and writer Alvidas Šliapikas.
The solemn ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė, Minister of Culture Simonas Kairys, and the Chairman of the Government Commission on Prizes in the field of culture and art Vidas Dolinskas.
The State Prize has been awarded annually since 1997 for significant contributions and outstanding achievements in the field of culture and art.
