On April 25–29, Communications Manager of the European Humanities University Olga Roginska spent 5 days at the University College London in Great Britain, London, as a part of the Erasmus+ program training for staff.

During this period of time, Olga was able to exchange the know-hows and to learn, how communication process is being managed at the University College London – the third oldest University in Great Britain, that is ranked second in the UK for the research power, and eighth’s in the 2022 QS World University Rankings.

About 45000 students are studying across 11 faculties of the University, and over 350 employees of the University are working with its communications process management: internal and external communications, public affairs, alumni management, recruitment, social networks, media, events, campaigns and etc.

This exchange experience was really great and comprehensive as it allowed to compare the differences in the processes between a relatively small but very special University, such as the EHU and a huge one with a long history, such as UCL.

There are three main opportunities for the members of the EHU community to participate in the Erasmus+ program: for the students (studying), for the faculty members (lecturing) and for the staff (training). Such experience allows to broaden the knowledge in the chosen area, improve competencies and to build international relationships all over the world.
