The 2025 Get Engaged Student Action and Youth Leadership Conference brings together a global community of young changemakers who are developing creative, community-based responses to social, cultural, and political challenges. Held in partnership with Bard College and the European Humanities University (EHU) on its campus in Vilnius, the conference will run from July 14 to 21, gathering young leaders from across 23 countries around the world for a week of leadership training, collaboration, and civic engagement.
At its core, Get Engaged is about building a lasting network of socially conscious youth leaders – those who see education not just as a path to personal growth, but as a platform for collective action. Through intensive workshops and peer-led sessions, participants develop practical skills in leadership, public speaking, ethical storytelling, community organizing, volunteer management, fundraising, data-informed evaluation, and navigating complex or challenging environments.
More than a conference, Get Engaged is a launching point for long-term civic leadership. It nurtures a global ecosystem of young innovators who are committed to ethical action, cultural dialogue, and transformative change – locally and globally.
