This issue opens a new thematic cycle of Topos, focusing on contemporary critical theory in its plural, mobile, and cross-disciplinary forms. The contributions examine how critical theory today responds to ongoing political, epistemic, and ecological crises—rethinking categories such as power, subjectivity, agency, and care. The authors explore diverse intellectual lineages, from post-Marxist and decolonial perspectives to feminist, psychoanalytic, and posthumanist approaches. Central to the issue is the question of how critique can remain generative amid systemic violence and exhaustion, and what new contours of thought emerge from situated practices of resistance and solidarity.
