European Social Fund Agency  ESFA was established to administer the pre-accession instrument’s Phare ESS 2001 and Phare ESS 2002 projects, thereafter the Agency became an integral part of the Institutional Structure of Structural Funds in Lithuania. COST COST is an EU-funded programme that enables researchers to set up their interdisciplinary research networks in Europe and beyond. We provide funds for organising conferences, meetings, training schools, short scientific exchanges or other networking activities in a wide range of scientific topics. We invite participants to submit proposals for COST Actions contributing to the scientific, technological, economic, cultural or societal knowledge advancement and development of Europe. Multi- and interdisciplinary proposals are encouraged. The next collection date is on Thursday, 29 November 2018 at 12:00 noon (CET).

Small Research Grants Program The Small Research Grants program is intended to support education research projects with budgets of $50,000 or less. In keeping with the Spencer Foundation’s mission, this program aims to fund academic work that will contribute to the improvement of education, broadly conceived. Historically, the work we have funded through these grants has spanned, a range of topics and disciplines, including education, psychology, sociology, economics, history, and anthropology, and they employ a wide range of research methods. Projects can be anywhere from 1 to 5 years long. Deadlines:

 

Small Research Grant proposals are accepted 4 times per year. The next deadline is at 4:00pm CDT, November 1, 2018. The following deadlines will fall on February 1, 2019, May 1, 2019, and August 1 2019.

The Center for Education and Ethics The Center will make awards of up to $40,000 for research projects in philosophy as it relates to educational policy and practice. We encourage applicants to understand educational policy and practice in broad terms, including issues that directly relate to K-12 schools and higher education institutions, but also concerning policies that influence children’s growth and development in the family and other institutions. We also encourage diverse kinds of philosophical research ranging from the highly abstract to the highly applied. Deadline: November 6, 2018.
The Baltic-American Dialogue program The Baltic-American Dialogue program fosters the exchange of ideas between the Baltic States and U.S. and stimulates international collaboration. Public organizations in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are invited to apply for funds to host speakers from the U.S. to travel to the Baltics. BAFF provides successful applicant organizations with financial support to sponsor American speakers on topics of mutual importance and interest. Funding is designed to cover expenses such as airfare, local lodging and meals, and transportation. Applications will be accepted and reviewed twice a year. Closest deadline for the application submission: 1 February, 2019.
