The European Humanities University Trust Fund is the main channel for donor support to EHU. The purpose of the Trust Fund is to raise, accept and make use of funds provided by donors for the University while situated in Vilnius, with the aim that the EHU will become self-sustainable in the future.
The Trust Fund was established in June 2008 by decision of the Nordic Council of Ministers upon the initiative of the European Commission. The Trust Fund is legally represented by the Nordic Council of Ministers through its secretariat in Copenhagen, Denmark.
