Record numbers of prospective students visit EHU Open Doors

On March 25 European Humanities University (EHU) welcomed more than 150 prospective students and their parents from all over Belarus, who visited EHU Open Doors in Vilnius.

EHU traditionally kicks off 1-week long Spring Open Doors with the undergraduate programs fair, where high school juniors and seniors from Belarus and beyond familiarize themselves with EHU educational opportunities. EHU promotes the values of academic freedom and liberal arts education, highly appreciated by prospective students and their parents. Prospective students had an opportunity to meet EHU faculty members, current students and alumni and to get more detailed information about each study program, internship and career prospects. University staff and leadership were also ready to share useful insights regarding student mobility programs, life in Vilnius, residence permits, legal issues and preparation to take EHU admission exams.

EHU “Visual Design and Media” students exhibition was opened during the Open Doors. Afterwards EHU guests were also welcomed by the senior leadership of the University and EHU alumni, among them – EHU Distinguished Alumnus 2016 Yahor Zakharko (BA “Cultural Heritage and Tourism”, 2009).

The majority of EHU prospective students decided to take admission exams in essay writing, design, and foreign languages. If they score well, these results can be submitted as entrance exam results during the Admissions later this year.

EHU gives a wonderful opportunity to the prospective students to experience the advantages of student life and spend their spring holidays at EHU in Vilnius. Over the period of one week prospective students are offered an explicit cultural program, open lectures and workshops, meetings with EHU special guests, various student activities and guided tours to EHU facilities and across Vilnius Old Town.
