Prof. Paul R. Josephson will deliver an open lecture on the topic of “Brute Force Technology: How Engineering Decisions Constrained Social Choice Under Socialism”.
Paul R. Josephson is a professor at Colby College, USA. He is a specialist in the history of big science and technology in the 20th century. Josephson is currently working on an NSF-funded project on the history of the conquest of the Russian north during Soviet power, 1930-1990.
