Leadership in the EU Neighborhood: The Case of EHU

How can universities enhance competitiveness and sustainability through the education of future leaders? As the EU sets its 2020 policy agenda, innovative and dynamic forms of collaboration are needed to promote understanding, confront the challenges of the post-Soviet transition, and build connections in partnership with academic communities, young talents and policy-making institutions. The session explores the enormous potential of neighboring regions to the Baltic Sea, with particular emphasis on the unique and special case of European Humanities University, a Belarusian university relocated from Minsk to Vilnius, and the interactive participation of youth from throughout the region.
