November 9, an exhibition “Holiday In” opened at Vilnius Center of Modern Art, which, a few days back was the venue for a group photo session of students, professors and administration staff members of the European Humanities University. The new exhibition presented the results of the all-EHU photo session, the first of its kind in the history of the university. Its author is photographer Flavia Müller Medeiros.
Some of the participants of “Holiday In” project from Britain, France, Lithuania, and Belarus attended the exhibition. After a short introduction, the exhibition was unveiled. Our students, scarcely stopping to see other exhibits, ran to see how they looked on the project picture. The group photo of EHU community occupied nearly half the hall in one of the Center’s halls. One of the monitors installed in the exhibition hall showed non-stop how the photo session was conducted on November 5. Photographer Flavia signed for guests a booklet “Irka” created as part of the “Holiday In” project together with Ira Mashchenskaya, a third-year EHU student of Theory and Practices of Contemporary Art program.
