EHU academic development discussed with Latvia’s Ambassador

On March 8 leadership of the European Humanities University (EHU) met with Ambassador of Latvia to Lithuania H.E. Dr. Einars Semanis and Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Ivars Liepnieks.

While opening the meeting University President Prof. Anatoli Mikhailov expressed gratitude for Ambassador’s and Mrs. Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica’s, Parliamentary Secretary of the Latvian Foreign Ministry, participation in the Donors Conference, held in March 2016. Acting Rector Jørgen Jørgensen presented to the Ambassador the status of University’s enhancement of financial and organizational operations, process of the implementation of the Core Curriculum and preparations for the EHU Donors Conference, scheduled for April-May 2017.

During the meeting Ambassador Dr. Semanis stressed: “Latvia appreciates the activities, undertaken by the European Humanities University and University’s mission in the context of the stimulation of the European Union-Belarus relations. We are satisfied with the directions of EHU’s development and are looking forward seeing University’s further progress in the enhancement of its academic environment”.
