Application deadline for the EHU Rector’s Search is over

Deadline for submitting applications for the international search for the new Rector of the Vilnius-based European Humanities University (EHU) officially expired on January 17 12:00 CET. 

In the result of the international search for the new EHU Rector, 29 applications were received. 
Selection of candidates will be conducted by the plenipotentiary Selection Committee, consisting of:

  • Horton Beebe-Center, Chairperson of the EHU General Assembly of Part-Owners and President of the Eurasia Foundation
  • Prof. Anatoli Mikhailov, EHU President
  • Jørgen Jørgensen, EHU Acting Rector
  • Ewa Ośniecka-Tamecka, member of the EHU Governing Board and Vice Rector at the College of Europe
  • Prof. Emeritus Ryhor Miniankou, Chairperson of the EHU Senate
  • Assoc. Prof. Andrei Stsiapanau, member of the EHU Senate and Head of the Academic Department of Social and Political Sciences
  • Anna Filistovich, member of the EHU Senate and President of the EHU Students’ Union

An international search for the new Rector is conducted on the University’s behalf by “Mercuri Urval” consulting firm and under the aegis of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
