Collection

Library collection currently holds about 65 000 items, including Russian and foreign languages research, study and reference books in the disciplines taught at the university.

The EHU library also has at its disposal a collection of l books in humanities in English, Spanish, French and German. It includes handbooks, reference and research publications, among them Britannica (32 volumes), Brockhaus-Enzyklopеdie (24 volumes), International Encyclopedia of Law (20 volumes), Concise Encyclopedia of Psychology, as well as such valuable publications as  Husserl E. Gesammelte Werke (28 volumes), Heidegger M. Gesamtausgabe, Kierkegaard’s writings (21 volumes), Dilthey W. Gesammelte Schriften (20 volumes), multivolume collections in arts and law.

Library collection is continuously growing through purchases at various publishing houses. The library is welcoming private donations form individuals and organizations. Particular attention is currently being paid to acquire bibliographic and full-text databases.

All items form the library collection can be found in the open access area. The items are organized according to the International Standard Serial/ International Standard Book Numbers.
