The program is aimed at training professionals in contemporary theories of political science and objective analytical skills as a means to enhance their ability to transmit European values to Belarusian society. The core of the program is the concept of the forms and patterns of democracy as a political system and all aspects of democratic transition. The program combines courses in: Political Science, Political Theory, the Belarusian Political System, Comparative Political Science, Public Policy and State Government, Democratic Theory, Political History of Belarus, History and Theory of European Integration, Political History of Europe, Nations and Nationalism in Europe, and European Identity. Students also become acquainted with the interconnections of the field of study with sociology, international relations, and economics.
