International Education and Career Advising Center

Our mission is to encourage the educational mobility of Belarusian students and graduates by:

  • Providing accurate, comprehensive, current, and unbiased information concerning opportunities for degree or non-degree, undergraduate or graduate programs at American colleges and universities to everyone who is interested in education, training or research in the U.S.;
  • Promoting the values of an open society by offering to students, university teachers, researchers, administrators and professionals from Belarus the possibility to participate in a series of rigorous and competitive learning programs held in an alternative academic and cultural environment.

Services for students:

  • Providing regular consultations on all issues related to U.S. education;
  • Responding to inquiries about U.S. education, scholarship opportunities, English language courses and summer study opportunities in the U.S.;
  • Helping visitors to search for U.S. universities; choosing appropriate schools and programs; liaising with institutions’ admissions offices; completing and sending application materials;
  • Consulting on financial documents required by universities;
  • Assisting with visa issues and providing pre-departure orientations;
  • Providing bulletins and information about registrations for standardized tests, including TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, ACT, SAT and LSAT;
  • Full information and application materials on U.S. Government-sponsored exchange programs;
  • Access to a library and CD-ROM databases with comprehensive information on U.S. education as well as preparation materials for standardized tests;
  • Electronic list through which regular information and news are delivered to subscribers;
  • Information on opportunities offered by European higher education institutions;
  • Career services and information on internship opportunities;

    BRUSSELS - The European Students Union (ESU) welcomes the conclusion of the Bologna Follow Up Group (BFUG) that Belarus should not become member of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) without reform first. On 30 November 2011, Belarus officially applied to become a member of the area but the Bologna Follow Up Group decided to advise against EHEA membership of Belarus at its meeting on 18-19 January in Copenhagen.
